Herilantonirina Ramaroson

Herilantonirina Solotiana Ramaroson (DVM) (soloherilanto@gmail.com) is a young veterinarian and researcher in the National Center for Applied Research on Rural Development in the Aquaculture, Livestock and Animal health Research Department (FOFIFA / DRZVP), and he is also a master student in Biochemistry, Biodiversity and Health (BBS) at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Antananarivo, Madagascar.

 

He has worked on infectious (Q fever) and parasitic (porcine cysticercosis, gastrointestinal parasites of ruminants) animal diseases. He has experience in spatial Multicriteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) and ethnoveterinary surveys of medicinal plants used to treat animal diseases. He is interested in Geographic Information System (GIS) applied in health research, in laboratory diagnosis using serological and molecular methods, and in fighting antimicrobial resistances.
